PSA Summary

In media arts, we learned how to make a public service announcement with help from San Francisco's Film Society. We split into groups and I was paired with Luz and Stephanie. Our subject was something like making the world a better place. On the first day of making the PSA, I was a little confused on how we should make the script and where we were going to find the pictures because we had to take them ourselves for copyright reasons. So, we started making a script, filming, finding the music, and taking the pictures.

After we finished everything, we started to edit the PSA. The most hard part of the PSA for me would be editing and filming. All of us at least messed up once on our parts and editing took a lot of time, concentration, and work. We had to add and remove stuff, make the music fit in with our voices, fix the pictures we took, etc...  I guess all of the work payed off because it turned out to look pretty good. I'm glad that the San Francisco Film Society helped us when we were stuck. I thought that this was a great experience because we learned some of the camera shots such as close-ups, long-shots, and medium-shots.
